Job Title: Senior Technical Consultant
Job Summary:
Senior Technical Consultants (STC) are expected to bring a high level of technical competency in one or more of our core business areas (machinery lubrication, oil analysis and contamination control). An STC is expected to provide value to our clients through the delivery of public and onsite training, management of Lubrication Process Design (LPD) projects and make editorial contributions to Noria’s award-winning magazine and annual conference.
Essential Functions:

Provide public and on-site training in the areas of lubrication, oil analysis and contamination control (must be able to immediately instruct full 3-day Machinery Lubrication and/or Oil Analysis course)

Serve as project manager in charge of a Lubrication Program Design (LPD) team.

Ability to write technical reports and documents and present articles and papers for our magazine and conference.

A willingness and availability to travel a minimum of 50% to support ongoing projects.
In addition, STC are expected to maintain courteous and respectful interaction with clients, as well as participate in educational and marketing events.
Educational/Experience Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.

Significant experience with mechanical equipment.

Significant experience with lubrication, oil analysis, tribology and/or contamination control.

ICML Machinery Lubrication Technician (MLT) Level I and II and Machinery Lubricant Analyst Level I and II preferred (or ability to pass upon immediate hire).

Ability to obtain Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) status within 6-months of hire.
Work Environment::

Time is spent in both office environments or on-site in manufacturing facilities.

STCs are expected to travel a minimum of 50% to support ongoing projects. Relocation is not required though consultants are expected to reside close enough to a major airport to give easy access to projects throughout the Continental US & Canada.
