Lubrication Program Development (LPD)

Absolutely. Noria consultants are committed to maintaining full safety compliance. They will adhere to company safety protocols, including any required safety training and other relevant measures. Safety is a top priority for Noria, and they will work closely with your team to ensure all safety regulations and guidelines are followed.

Noria doesn’t have any specific equipment requirements from the client. However, we do need confirmation on whether there are any special requirements for our consultants prior to arrival, such as personal protective equipment (PPE) or flame-resistant (FR) clothing.

Furthermore, we require access to all lubricated equipment and relevant sections of the plant related to the client’s lubrication program. An escort from the client’s team will be needed while we’re onsite to help us in locating key equipment and providing crucial information. We also seek permission to bring digital tablets onsite and take photos as necessary.

To optimize our time together, it would greatly benefit us if clients could provide a comprehensive asset list of all rotating equipment in their plant, as well as access to oil analysis data and maintenance budget estimates upon request. This preparation helps us deliver the most effective and efficient service possible.

During the Ascend Assessment, Noria experts will identify gaps in your lubrication program and provide a customized roadmap for improvements. This may involve inspecting your lubricated assets and collecting data. The impact on operations would depend on your specific situation and should be discussed directly with Noria. While we can often tentatively hold project dates based on the current availability of our consulting team, to officially lock in dates, Noria requires a signed Purchase Order (PO) that adheres to 30-day payment terms (though some exceptions may apply). Also, we need full location and contact details associated with the project location well before the project. We typically schedule a client kick-off call within a few weeks of the project prior to our onsite arrival to finalize all pending details. This process ensures that we’re fully prepared to deliver our services efficiently and effectively.

Noria operates on a first come, first served basis, so we strongly encourage clients to confirm and schedule project dates as early as possible. Not only does this help secure your spot, but it can also ensure reasonable pass-through savings on related travel expenses, especially for clients located in remote areas or outside of the contiguous United States. So, the sooner you book, the better it is for planning and potential cost savings.

The prerequisites for taking a Noria Corporation training course will depend on the specific course you are interested in. For instance, our non-certification courses or the Machinery Lubrication I course hold no prerequisites, but higher-level courses will.

You can review each course description within the training section of the company’s website or by contacting Noria directly. Also, if you wish to get certified, you should review the respective certification organization’s website or contact them directly for certification prerequisites.

The International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML) website is as follows: www.icmlonline.com

No. While you will receive a certificate of completion when you finish a Noria course, this is not a substitute for passing a certification exam through the International Council of Machinery Lubrication (ICML) or other third-party certification organizations.

Noria works closely with ICML, but to become certified through this organization, you will need to register directly with them for certification testing. For more information on ICML certifications and fees, please visit their website at www.icmlonline.com.

However, the Noria certificate of completion does provide documentation that you have successfully completed the course (including documented training hours), which can be useful for employee needs and/or registration for certification testing through a third-party, as there are often formalized training prerequisites.

Noria is an authorized training provider for ICML and provides various supplementary study material options to help further prepare individuals for certification testing.
