Prepare for ICML General Lubrication Concepts Certification
This course is designed to build the lubrication and oil sampling/analysis knowledge covered by the International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML) General Lubrication Concepts (GLC) Body of Knowledge. It gives cross-functional and non-technical professionals a practical foundation for supporting better lubrication, maintenance and reliability decisions across their organization.
The ICML GLC examination contains 70 multiple-choice questions. Candidates have two hours to complete the closed-book exam and must score at least 70% to earn the certification. ICML requires a minimum of five hours of formal training aligned with the GLC Body of Knowledge. Certification registration and exam fees are handled separately through ICML.
Who should attend?
General Lubrication Concepts is designed for professionals whose decisions support maintenance and reliability, even when lubrication is not their primary technical responsibility. It is especially useful for teams that need a shared understanding of lubricant fundamentals, contamination control, storage and handling, and oil sampling/analysis.
