Course Description
This track provides a comprehensive foundation in machinery lubrication, covering the core knowledge areas required for ICML’s GLC certification exam. Sessions progress from lubrication theory, including lubrication regimes, lubricant functions, and key lubricant properties, through maintenance protocols and condition-based monitoring practices. Participants will learn how to select the right lubricant type for a given application, understand contamination control and major contaminant sources, and gain practical guidance on lubricant storage, transportation, and handling. The track concludes with a full review of GLC content to reinforce key concepts before the exam.
Led by experienced instructors from Noria Corporation and industry-leading organizations, this track combines technical instruction with real-world application, giving attendees the training hours and knowledge base needed to sit for the GLC exam with confidence.
This course is aligned with the International Council for Machinery Lubrication’s GLC Certification. Candidates have two (2) hours to complete the closed-book examination.
